a little late to the party but.......i did the ADM on the accumulator and have the same clicking of the pedal hitting the rod....i want to move the pedal closer to the rod or extend the rod to touch the pedal like normal...doing it your way, will it accomplish what i'm looking for?...if any of this makes sense

I don't understand your question, but there are two main things that people like to adjust....

This post includes the service manual on how to adjust clutch engagement point (when the clutch separates the motor from the axle): Clutch engagement adjustment

This post explains how to change the clutch height at rest: Clutch height adjustment

This should help. The hardest part is releasing the 14mm locking nut because the bracket folds up into the way.

    4 steps in order...

My free play is out of adjustment. I stuck my head down there and took a look. I can't see how I am ever going to get two wrenches up in there to loosen and tighten the lock nut on the pushrod. Is there a trick? Remove parts of the dash? Jedi mind power?

Oh that's embarrassing. How did I miss that on my first time through the thread? Thanks.

This is super old and you posted on my birthday. But if you haven't, you should do the accumulator delete. It makes it feel like my 97 5 speed civic I had until recently.

I love how you make it sound so simple lol. I just did this last night and it was probably the biggest pain in the butt for any work on a vehicle I've ever done lol. But i didn't remove the bracket or the front drive shaft. The exhaust bracket looked harder to get the bolts out than the accumulator.

Doesn't it feel amazing though! My pedal engagement is the second it comes off the floor.

How do you know when the desired height is too much? I don’t want to be driving around with constant pressure on the throwout bearing.
