Can anyone confirm if 5mt 2TRFE trucks (4x4 should it matter) have the accumulator in the hydraulic line between master and release cyls? I’ve ready about 6mt trucks having it but seems murky if our 4cyl models do. If so and same as 6mt trucks, what’s this nice seen about a disc to replace or modify?

I had a Pontiac years ago that had an accumulator inline between the clutch master and release cylinder and removing that thing was about the best mod for gaining some actual feel through the pedal. It was a big bulky steel thing that had some restrictive passage to soften the hydraulic action. Won’t be getting under the truck for another month or so when it’s time to Fluid Film again and wondering about this mod.

I'm going to say no. The tech manual I have only lists the clutch accumulator as being on the RA60 and RA60F transmissions.
