Hey guys, I have what I am 98% sure is a broken clevis on the top of the master cylinder that connects to the clutch pedal. I have a 2012 Tacoma and Toyota is telling me that my truck has an 'A' type clutch (shitty one) that was replaced with the 'B' Type just after mine was manufactured. They dont have any idea how to fix it or where I can even find a replacement part. I have search on the interweb but haven't found anything further.

Does anyone know how interchangeable these master cylinders/clutch assemblies are? Even Toyota doesn't know what to do, replace the whole clutch and master cylinder? or try to make the B type master cylinder work? They just say, 'Tell us what to do and we will see'. Last thing I want to do is throw $$$ at Toyota for them to come up short

I see there are a bunch of other threads with this same issue but it appears they just bought new parts or manufactured their own parts. These are apparently discontinued and no longer available. Part #31404 04020

Any info you guys have would help greatly..... I love my truck but Fucken Toyota............
