Aloha. I recently changed my clutch to a stage 3. I previously noticed the slave cylinder was leaking so I went ahead and bought an OEM slave. Yesterday I installed the clutch and replaced the slave. I bled the slave and went to take a test drive… and I got no clutch pressure. No biggie, I’ll get a new master. Still no clutch pressure, I figured it must be because I was using an autozone master. I went and got a new master from Napa, got it bled. Now I’m able to force the truck into reverse and 2nd. I’ve messed with the adjustment on the pedal and only with it maxed out am I able to force it into gear. I’ve compared the travel on the slave to another Tacoma and it appears to not be restricted.

I’m at a loss and not sure what to do next besides drop the trans again and inspect the clutch. Anyone have anything similar?
For bleeding I’m using a reverse bleed tool and mighty vac so definitely no air.

Disc orientation correctly? What about the throw out bearing?

Getting ready to drop trans. Throw out bearing is now making noise which definitely makes me think I put the clutch disc backwards. I will update once trans is out

Yes indeed! OP, glad you got it sorted out with a little help. The AISIN clutch disc I installed was marked backwards. The disc side that was stamped "T/M SIDE" needed to face the flywheel on the 3.4L 5VZ-FE engine. AISIN even included a love-note to that effect. I triple-checked my disc orientation so I would not have to pull the tranny w T/case.

"T/M SIDE" on AISIN disc is NOT correct for the 3.4L 5VZ-FE:

Proper disc orientation based on engine type:
