Will the master cylinder from a 2012-2015 p/n 3142004020 fit on my 2008 2.7L? I've had a master cylinder on order from my Toyota dealer for many months and there is no availability. The p/n 3142004011 listed for my '08 truck is no longer available and says replaced by the one above. Can anyone tell me if they are compatible? Thanks

31420-04020 is the same cylinder, but has a different clevis shape. It likely won’t interface correctly with your pedal unless your truck had a TSB performed on it already.

You have several options, which I will list, along with my recommendations.

    1. Order 31420-04020 and reuse your original clevis (assuming you don’t have the TSB update).
    2. Order 31420-60032, 31434-60010, 31311-04021, and 90389-06055 to update to the newer aluminum master cylinder and pedal.
    3. Order 31301-35270, 90389-06055, 90541-06036, 31420-35070, 31454-30030, 31434-60010, 31404-35013, 90240-T0002, 90386-08033, 90206-08001, and 90468-15006 to upgrade to an all-metal design from the FJ Cruiser/Land Cruiser.

I would check RockAuto and order what they say fits unless you upgrade. Likely 3x cheaper
