Clutch master issue

Has anyone experienced having the shaft behind the clutch pedal have lots of play? I have to depress the clutch down to the ground to engage and only about 2-3 inches of clutch to level with.

 

Here is the information you need to set the proper adjustments. Keeping in mind that you don't have a master or slave cylinder leakage problem.

Thank you @Jimmyh i was told that I needed to replace the entire clutch master cylinder assembly. If I'm trying to figure out if there is something faulty inside the cylinder. There's is no leaks on the cylinder or the slave, I checked both.

 

If no external leaks, it could be a internal leak....

Check the adjustments before spending money.

 

What do you mean by internal leak?

@Taco Pete626 can the clerics be replaced or is it the whole assembly? If so how did you replace it?

 

I adjusted the nut and now it seems better but I don't know if this will solve the issue. Especially if the clevis is broken

 

Personally I never had to replace mine. Yes the Clevis can be replaced. You would probably have to take apart the clutch pedal and unscrew the broken Clevis.
