    Dear Tacoworld,

    2019 Sport 5000KM
No issues during normal driving but the odd rare moment when traffic requires faster than normal reaction I sometimes press the pedal to the floor and slip my foot off to the left so it snaps back up as quick as possible.

The result is a metal on metal sound and pedal getting stuck at the top, requiring a bit of downward force to unstick it.

    Does that seem normal?
Suppose I should avoid doing that?

Had a 2016 Sport before this and don't recall this situation ever with same driving habits.

    I drive a Miata.
Id start by looking for the bump-stop cushion under the dash and making sure that it is there and/or positioned correctly.

Yeah you can’t side step the clutch because it’s a shitty design.
