Hello, I have just purchased a 2015 Tacoma and I'm glad to be a member of this forum! It only has 100 miles on it so far; it's brand new. It's a 5-speed manual with 4 cyl. Pyrite Mica. Awesome vehicle and I can tell that I'm going to love this thing. It has no packages on it - really basic model which I think is cool. I drove a 1992 Toyota Pickup (pre-Tacoma) for 24 years before it turned into a pile of rust literally so I'm really excited about having another one. It's great to drive such a tight, new vehicle again.

Anyway, I've noticed that there is a huge amount of play in the pedal - feels like an inch - when the spec seems to be 5-15mm. The pedal is very high (my knee hits the steering wheel). I think it was shipped out of adjustment by the factory or the dealer did not adjust it or some combination.

I would like to try adjusting it myself.

Hard to see under there! I attached a picture. Is the item I circled in red the lock nut/stopper bolt that controls the pedal height? Thanks for any advice. I can't tell where the lock nut is. I can't find a good picture of the assembly in a parts diagram either, which would be great to see. THANKS
