Okay, yes I searched, no the fluid level in the res is not getting lower, yes my clock is in a decent location and works.

After my truck sits over night the clutch peddle feels like it is half way to the floor, I cant get it in first other gears are hard too. All I need to do is push the clutch a few times and its fine. This seems weird due to the fact that there is a return spring under the dash, its not broken. It is bent a little so its not pulling it all the way out the limit/switch. After the couple of pushes, I can using my toes pull the peddle up about and inch and it hits the limit/switch but drops right back down about that inch.

Looking underneath I can see the play the bent spring puts into the system, but still does not make sense why the peddle is falling.

I guess the clutch master cylinder leaking by and the bent spring no putting all the pressure it should might cause it some, but this much?

now the spring, should it twist to provide the force, or a combo of twist and bend?

Maybe I will take a video...

Sounds like the master cylinder. Especially if its leaking. It can not build up pressure to return pedal to up position. Maybe check the slave cylinder as well. But no pressure no work. I just had to bleed mine as well

No it works fine, after a pump or two ( story of my life... ). Also the reservoir is not going down so its not leaking out, more like bypassing.

video of the spring. It takes force to push down, and comes up to the point where it stops, then I need to pull it up a little then it pops the rest of the way.

The big issue is first thing in the morning is it needs to be pumped once or twice like breaks. If I had to guess it by passing past the master back to the reservoir.

These are symptoms of a bad master cylinder or slave cylinder.

I wouldn't even think about it and just replace both the Clutch Master cylinder and the slave cylinder. You can get both parts from Rock Auto for less than $60 AISIN brand made in Japan OEM. Just starting going though my son's 2000 Tacoma we just bought with 225k miles and replaced both today. It had a really deep clutch pedal that barely engaged now like brand new. The plastic around rod fitting into the case actually compromised giving additional play and no travel. The black crap in your fluid is most likely degraded seal material.

OP How long has this been happening ??

Seems to me you have air in the system either from a loose connection or never having been bled correct last time things were apart .
Over night the air bleeds allowing the pedal to settle would you notice a slight difference in the reservoir

A pump or 2 your good to go

Just like any other system using hydraulic fluid air can be drawn in without a fluid leak
