It sounds like there is air in the system. You could try a bleed, but it is likely to come back.

Any recent brake service? Since the Sport (going off the AC in your profile) draws from the brake reservoir, a shop could have let air in the system?

Otherwise, the master or slave cylinders might be leaking? Notice anything near the pedal or black streaks under the truck near the left side of the belt housing / MT?

Sounds like something is already dysfunction enough to be considered broken.

That sounds pretty darn broke, but it might not be due to a manufacturing defect and thus likely not covered by your warranty. It might be easily fixed however.

What did the dealership say was wrong?

Intermittently undriveable makes it unsafe. That's broke enough.

Is it a Toyota warranty or aftermarket?

If Toyota, try one more time @ dealer, if refused, call Corporate and open a case.

But be prepared. It may be classified as a wear item, not covered. You know, like brakes, tires, clutches, etc.

Sounds like the slave cylinder might have gone out mine went out at about 120,000 mi had to have the whole thing replaced stock one was plastic new ones metal.
The part itself was not expensive so I just bought the part and I had a local trusted shop put it in because I hate the steelership

There are several spots that can squeak. The pedal itself, the master cylinder, the fork, the throw out bearing, and the slave cylinder.

Agreed. Only a loose fitting (very rare) or a cylinder can leave air in. Both cylinders can be replaced at home, but the master will induce a lot of swearing.

If the engine is off, it is likely the fork or the slave.

There's lots of info in the Service Manual link in my signature.

    Could possibly be it.

Aftermarket extended warranties can be tougher than OEM warranties. Since it is a clutch, it is even harder to get coverage unless it is an obvious material defect.
