While accelerating my clutch push rod rattles so loud its unbelievable. The black pice in the picture is the part ratting. I can shake it around and move it a quarter inch in any direction.

Is your jam nut tight against it? It's that 12mm nut with the green paint on it.

Per the SM, there should not be a 1/4in of play. Like that, it should be clicking like a mofo on every shift.

    Adjust that properly.

if it's a plastic POS (the clevis in the pic) then there is a metal one available in case it doesn't adjust sufficiently.

lol. are you committed? you can get out of the plastic problem. but you'll need to work it out by getting the parts and having the install completed, and this is genius level good with the ADM and anything else you do to improve the hardware there. but also consider that you may qualify for the TSB under warranty. that solves the groaning for many, but i didn't consider it because i wanted all the plastic gone.

It dosen't even grone, it rattles so loud once the variable timing kicks in that i can hear it with the stereo at max volume. Sounds like a metal wrench hitting the spokes of a bicycle wheel as it spins. I am going to try and make a video and post it for more context. I have read about the squeaks etc as I had that issue recently as well.

Going to look into that forum thread.

Dealership said they had to take it apart down to the clutch... they claim the clutch is some how physically attached to the push rod causing it to vibrate. They claim i burned the clutch up and want me to commit to $2,200....

They weren't covering under warranty? I have a 2020 with the same problem. I tried adjusting the push rod lock nut but it doesn't fix the vibration. 8k miles

I was told its all under warranty unless the clutch is worn out or has hot spots.... completely unbelievable. I highly doubt its related. He couldn't even explain it to me or how it was possible.

I have 11k this started at 9.5k miles

This is a fast video I took of the sound. I took my truck back from the dealership. They set me up with a loaner car but when I arrived my truck was sitting in the lot. I am getting a second dealerships opinion next week.

Something is weird there. While I agree with your dealer's take on the clutch wear at 11k being not warrantable, that issue should be plainly warrantable.

As such, if you look at the clutch pedal TSBs, they show an applicable period that matches the bumper to bumper period.

BTW, the clock starts when you report the issue to the dealer and they look at it, not so much as when you first noticed it.

Isn't it odd? I want to get a camera under the dash but I have no idea how to do it safely.

As of now I have two numbers to call at dealership. My coworkers have friends at individual dealerships so hopefully I will have some trusted inside knowledge. The dealership I had it at today only drove my truck .7 miles.... it wasn't untill 18 miles into my drive home the noise started again.
