I feel you. Wish I had a Bloody Mary. I've gone back to whiskey.

If slightly depressing the pedal kills the squeaking then it's almost surely a needed clutch pedal adjustment. Cheap fix!

Other than looking at it sitting in a box?:p

It'll be installed by Tuesday. I'll run it through it's paces & I'll report back after I've gotten an opinion. But it looks of quality parts.

Hi all, just chiming in. I just recently SCd my truck with URDs 7th inj. I am currently running stock clutch and it's holding up pretty well so far but I do anticipate it going out sooner than later so I have a Centerforce DF at the ready for when it's time to change out.

Also in buying the CfDF directly from Centerforce right now you may take advantage of what to me seems like an error in their listed price. I think they seem to have the prices reversed for the 3.4L clutch kits.

Also going a lil off topic more into the supercharger... Are any of you SCd guys having issues or have had issues with your SC? I'm referring to the truck jerking or knocking in mid rpms like 2500-3000?

Don't believe their made in Japan hype, check all the bearings. My pilot bearing seized up and failed in about 30k after installing my new marlin clutch. Dropped the trans and it was Chinese bearing and it wore a groove in my input shaft. Check before you install and throw that crap in the garbage and get an OEM one if it is chinese.

    Clutch looked good though.

Next clutch will be an OEM and this truck is a wheeler on 37s.

Knocking like pinging? Or do you mean stuttering/losing power?

I have the 7th injector installed and I'll still get pinging if I hit too much boost under 2500 RPM.

Throw out bearing was good. Evreything was fine except for the $12 pilot bearing that failed.

But yea when it needs a new clutch again it will be OEM evreything, at least I wont have to wait forever for alleged upgraded parts...

Yeah it seems like it's too much boost. I keep telling myself I just hafta learn how to drive my truck again. I gotta ease into it and can't just step hard onto it from 1st. But I'm just wondering if I have to get it re-tuned.

Yeah the problem with our trucks (compared to say the 2nd gens) is it's not easy to tune them...mostly because our trucks ECUs can't be tuned. We have to run piggybacks like the 7th injector, and the URD 7th injector piggyback is ancient by today's standards. Not very easy to tune with modern computers and laptops because the program is so old. I haven't even tried doing it yet myself but I know it can be done.

I inspected everything thoroughly. Everything was legit. Thanks for bringing that up. That's bullshit.

That sucks, maybe it is the TOB.

Backing my previous post, my DD truck has 250k on a stock Aisin clutch and it feels just as grabby as my new Aisin clutch in the 4wd. Really believe personally its the best clutch.

I know that LCE clutch kits come with a cheap Chinese Throw out bearing from my experience. I ended up buying an SKF to replace it before installing.
