I have a 6 speed and need to replace my clutch. I am wondering if anyone has ised the AISIN from rock auto and if so what their experience was. It looks like it comes with everything needed. Was also thinking of doing the throw out bearing at the same time since the trans will be off... prob go with URD. THOUGHTS? Thanks in advance

Old Toyota's, Power Wagon, and a Tacoma
Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
i replaced mine twice due to failed throwout bearings (first oem, second autozone) then the second replacement (from orielys) was in for 20k ish miles until i sold the truck.

Point is DEFFINATELY replace the stupid throwout bearing and check the collar on the tranny (bad name im have a brain fart moment) for wear since toyota cheaped out in recent years they have been known by some to cause premature failure of the bearing like mine did.

overall the biggest PITA i had was the way the 2nd gen crossmember mounts.

    Good luck!

    Hi OP,

Did you get this done? Can you share your experiences? such as AISIN kit and URD bearing. Thanks

Haven't done it yet but starting to get TOB squeaks so probably soon. I'll let you know if I do anything special, saw a recent post on a fix so I might check that out...
