Put in the Centerforce dual friction kit with flywheel today. Oh. My. God. Granted I’m coming off of a totally smoked factory clutch with 176,000 miles. Posting pictures of the parts I removed. On a scale of one to 10 how bad do you guys think they are?

First issues ever with about 500k in c 4wheeled vehicles, including buying used and sharing vehicles with my wife. A couple materials issues on bikes. They're easier though.

Since this thread is being bumped lately.
Who's changing out the flywheel at the same time when doing this job? I figure it's a might as well once started. Overkill?
Im at 210 KM. Want this truck getting 400+++.
Sourced some OEM one's for around 800 if i recall.

Any noticeable differences in the rev hang? I'm tempted by the centerforce clutch with the heavier flywheel for a little more grunt off the line on hills, but worried it'll slow down my 1-2 shift.

Any differences I’ve felt were all positive. No notice rev hang. I live up in Vermont and drive big hill all day every day. Upshifts on steep grades are DRASTICALLY improved!

That's what I was hoping to hear. My clutch has been slipping in 1st when pulling out on steep grades for about the last 8k, so I'm trying to baby it until its convenient to get replaced. So far so good there.

Interesting. Would love this for towing through mountains. Hitting upshift perfectly on this truck while on grade towing is like 25% success. Either perfect in the power band or lose 10 mph with a miss shift. Lol.
    Or Im just noob driver.

I’m really excited to see the difference towing. I haven’t had an excuse to tow anything yet since I did the upgrade, but I can tell you it’s going to be a drastic difference.

It's tough for sure. I do alot of towing with our trailer (4000lb).
3rd gear is my go to when hitting grades and trying to keep it around 2.9k. Around 80 Km/h or so.
If grades go for awhile though the downshift to 2nd is a must, unfortunately because then you're doing much less than the speed limit at that point if your highway lol.
