I don't get a bucking out of mine unless I really miss the mark when I take off, if that happens a lot you might be looking at an issue with the clutch, IDK...haven't had one completely go out on me yet on this truck.

I think some earlier 1st gens came with 29" tires but the later ones I believe had 31s stock? Not sure, mine had 31s on it when I bought it. 33s now.

I get it the worst when I am off and on the gas in 1st, sometimes 2nd if I am avoiding 1st lol. Or trying to get her going uphill, she makes me work her more than I should have to. Drifting footwork tryna just take off on a hill, its ridiculous. Lol

And theres definitely a transmission, as a whole... issue - I am hoping its just the clutch setup starting to get worn out but haven't got to strip it down and take a look what's going on. But going to change it when I get in there regardless cause won't want to touch it again for a while. Lol.

I don't think mine would let me take off in 2nd gear at all lol.

Isn't being able to get going in a higher gear a sign of a worn out clutch? Thought I'd read that somewhere, though I think that was like 3rd gear or higher.

15 inch rims are 29s, 16 inch rims are 31s. Surprised at the 31 stock.

Hahah I am not sure if thats a sign; however I meant like stop sign in a parking lot thrn get up to 1st speed swap to 2nd and then cruise because its less touchy, BUT still too touchy on the gas imo.

But with that being said the first time driving it I did drop it into 3rd at a stop sign and I successfully took off with it in 3rd, lmao. SO now I am curious if that is a sign. Ha. I did have to feather her into it, and then the previous owner was like "yeah... that was 3rd.." Like oh. My bad. Lmao

Thinking I am going to try and run LCE's pro clutch kit. Is there any other like... "Street performance" clutches that I have missed? LCE seems to be the only one who makes a middle ground clutch, at least out of companies I am aware has one and would trust that is.

re: bucking. In my experience that was an axle wrap issue with the stock leaf springs, rather than being a clutch related.

Might just be a learning Curve till you get used to the truck.

Maybe the gears have been swapped I never have any of jerking in first gear

I installed aisin clutch kit the other day, very happy with performance so far. Wasnt impressed with the koyo pilot bearing (made in romania) but only time will tell
