What slave cylinder does the group recommend? I vaguely recall from prior reading on this forum, there is an upgraded OEM part with improved spring force and piston. Part no? What about a non-OEM part? An odd ball suggestion was to rebuild with an F150 internals.

I searched this forum, but didn't find anything of use in the first half-dozen pages.

    TIA for the help

I do know the oem slave in my truck was Aisin brand. Looking to heat what others are running though.

Don’t know anything about the i4, but I replaced the clutch and slave in my 08 v6 with oem aisin and it was squealing again in 200 miles.

The TOB chirp is a common problem in the v6 trucks. Mainly arises due to the TOB side loading and riding on the quill of the trans incorrectly. URD makes a steel sleeve and larger TOB to try and fix this. If you replaced the TOB with an OEM one, im not surprised its chirping again so soon. Not the best design from the factory:(

I’ve learned all this in the last year lol. Just ordered clutchmasters hydraulic slave cylinder, so hopefully these crickets will be a thing of the past soon enough!
