I’m not sure if I’m dumb or not but I’ve read lots of threads to fix the clutch squeak and for my 2nd gen I couldn’t find much that helped. I was applying grease everywhere I saw fit but this area in the green wasn’t one of the points I was hitting as it’s more of a shoulder socket joint not a pivot point like I thought it was coming from. Applied grease here and the squeak is gone immediately. Hopefully I can help someone else out.

Glad I'm not the only one with a shitload of grease all over the place under there too. I have also found where the squeak is, although not sure if it's the same area as you point out in the photo. Either way, it always comes back, whether in a day or a month. Worse when the weather changes. I've given up and just live with the load ass noise. It freaks people out when I'm talking on the phone (bluetooth) while driving.
