The function on standard tacomas where you need to fully press down the clutch to start the vehicle stopped working for me today. To start the vehicle I need to use the clutch start cancel now. Does anyone have info on how to fix this or can you direct me to some threads that might help?

There is a switch mounted on a bracket that closes when the clutch pedal is pushed to the floor.

It may have come loose and is out of adjustment .

    It might have failed

This is one of the first things that gets removed on any vehicle I get

Yeah wyoming is right, its prolly just that switch on the pedal. It adjusts fairly easy, try that out. Adjust it out so it gives more pressure when the pedal is depressed. That is of course unless its broken er something like that...
