    anyone know of a good aftermarket clutch for a 1st gen? Need to replace mine and wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions or advice. thanks in advance.

    Hit up Paradise Racing, I have heard alot of good about the company.

    Im doing my clutch soon and I plan on putting their 11lb flywheel and maybe the 6 puck clutch. He's on CT if you want to get in touch

    I've always heard that it's bad to put in a clutch that is overkill for your truck. The clutch is designed to be the weak point of the driveline, as it is relatively cheap and easy to replace. When you put a super strong clutch in it, other stuff will go first... other expensive stuff

    i just replaced mine with an OEM one. but it is no where near cheap or easy in my opinion. its like 1600 to have some one else do it. and it took me 30 hours to do it myself

    If you ever have to replace a clutch again, even in a different vehicle, it will go faster now that you've done it once. It doesn't get any funner, but it will go a little faster. Having proper tools helps too, this I know... :D
