    Hello everyone i am very sorry for my horrible spellingthat being said i have been having some clutch/tranny problems im not sure witch it is but its getting bad. i have an 2003 tacoma 3.4 5 speed and if im at a light it wont go into first sometomes so i try and go through all there gears to see if i can get it in any and it takes a little bit but i can aventaly get it into 2ed then back into 1st. itll also make a loud klunk when going into each gear once in awhile itll grind in some gears also mainly 3ed and 4th i have no clue what it is and i need some help if you know anything let me know please!

    Does the clutch pedal feel normal? Make sure you're not low on clutch fluid and that the pedal works as normal. If there's air in the system and/or it's low on fluid then the clutch might not disengage completely, which will definitely make it difficult to shift. Does this sound like your problem? A bad throw out bearing could also have the same effect.

    Does it shift smoothly if the engine is off, or if you're rolling at a slow speed?
