I really wanted 315's. I love the red letter grabbers don't get me wrong, but they are heavy. And load range E. With that being said I wouldn't have bought them if I didn't love them. And I do love these tires.
With the halo headlights there were a must to me. The color changing halos I have in there now are really cool too. I have some new color changing halls for my headlights on the way also.

Thanks a lot for you comments. Pics to come.

I have dreamed of having these tires for a long time. One of my favorites. Just that they are a little smaller than I wanted and heavy/stiffer than I would like. Never the less I am stoked to have them and really I needed some bigger tires asap.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Installed my Toytec coils for an added 3" of lift. Now at 7" in the front and 4" in the rear.

Been a while since I did an update. Officially at 7.75" of lift up front and 7" in the rear. Recently picked up some glassworks femders so I think I'll throw some 2" spacers up front and put my spidertrax in the rear. Also looking at 37's or 40's image.jpg

Update: Glass is off as well as the block in the rear. Walker Evans 2.5" shocks instaled on the rear and coilovers waiting to be installed. Going down to 6" or so of lift. Trail Gear front bumper has been ordered. Also have a thrush glasspack on the way. Here are some up to date pictures

Thanks Mike. I still haven't gotten my thrush welded on. But thanks for the advice on that

So what's final suspension setup? Why take glass off?

If you are asking what the end goal is. I'm not to sure. Probably long travel. But might end up SAS. No telling. That's years down the road.
I took the glass off for a few reasons. Needs to be painted for one. Also need bigger tires and wider wheels to fit in the glass. Plan is to put the glass on when everything is set up right.

Funny story for this morning. My dad and I were headed to church this morning in his 87 4Runner. He's telling me about how you have to use the key to open the gas door. This is when he realizes he doesn't have the key. And we are 20 minutes from home and running late. So we get there and I get put in charge of figuring out what to do. Long story short ended up using my Tacoma key to turn the engine of but left the radio on. Then disconnected the battery. Now when I reconnect the battery I can again use the Tacoma key to start it. This is kind of along the lines using a tire to lift the jack up to a usable height. Which I did yesterday.
