    once the thc gets an initial height touch off one of the output relays will disable the wiring going to the ohmic ring to prevent torch voltage from reaching the THC board. the centroid THC is a two part board, one they call the TX which the divided voltage from the plasma cutter goes into, along with the Ohmic or float switch touch off, along with break away switch. that then feeds to the RX board via a fiber optic link. The RX board then connects to the Controller with a DB9 connector.

    I attached a sample schematic from centroid showing how it is wired
