    Hear me out. I realize that the intent of this post was to basically say: " Ha ha stupid liberals- take that!" But I was a salesman for years and to me the idea of giving totally unrelated merchandise away-especially merchandise that has the sort of notoriety as high-power firearms is bad business sense. Put it this way. let's say that I decide to sell big-honkin' trucks and give away a flower vase or some other hippie BS along with it. By doing so I'm turning off a segment of my potential customer base. Sure- this salesman has gotten some attention. But he is also now forever branding himself. That's just bad business politics or not. That's the first thing I thought when I watched this.

    yes, I understand what your saying. BUT, this same guy did this last year, but gave away pistols instead, and sold every truck on his lot. Same thing this time, he has sold every truck on his lot with this promotion. He may be turning away one segment of potential buyers, but he seems to be bringing in plenty more.

    Doesn't change my mind. Perhaps he got lucky with this ploy. But its just bad business in my opinion. I used to sell power tools, paint, fasteners, and earthquake retrofit. You sell with knowledge, integrity, quality, and customer service. This guy has a gimick that I don't respect. Then again most salesmen I dealt with pulled out whatever out of their hat. Call me old-fashioned. I believe in selling the product on its merits alone.
