    Stuff. Also things.
Any and all of the bad behavior that I have encountered on the trails has been by ‘adults’.

I suppose the bigger issue is that many ‘adults’ nowadays behave like entitled, ignorant children, and in turn pass that behavior along to their kids.

Laziness and entitlement are almost always learned behaviors, sadly, but they’re by no means an excuse for fucking this up for the rest of us.

Dude wtf are you talking about, those are kids who haven’t graduated high school.....

When I was 12 my parents bought my shoes too as did their parents before them....

100% agreed. Ironically it’s the younger generations that are pushing for change due to how environmentally aware they are.

Careful with that joke... It's quite the violation.
The FAA considers unmanned aircraft of any size to be covered under Title 18 of the United States Code 32, which describes “sabotage to include destruction of any aircraft in the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States.” Violation of this code carries a maximum prison sentence of 20 years.

Not surprised... I'm not big on camping in Rampart. When I was up there 2 weeks ago, the FS had just installed super nice brand new fire rings along Dakan road... and this is how people treat them

Fuck it. Charge these assholes to camp there. I'm fine with not going back tbh, there's plenty of other places.

Yeah, someone had already dumped their trash into the brand new - concrete barely set - firepit along Jackson Creek road where we camped. Also, dirt bikers made trails all around and through this campsite, which was effin annoying.

CO is only going to continue to get more crowded. trails are gonna continue to get trashed, shit on, and closed.

I appreciate the efforts of organizations like Stay the Trail but I don't think that we can really fix "public land is my land to do whatever the fuck I want" mentality.

Yeah when I was up there 2 weeks ago I filled an entire 30 gallon trash bag, mostly with shit people dumped in the fire rings along Dakan. At least with the new management organization, I won't feel the need to make those trash run trips... I hope...

I lived in Boulder for 20 years, 1970-1990, it was always beautiful, my friend and I would haul ass on our motorcycles in the canyons and on the Peak to Peak hi way. Never crowded, easy to pass cars, the mountains where like to ourselves. What a total downer to hear this, but it's everywhere, to many people that truly don't care about anything but themselves.

Not much different in Snowy Range (WY), Medicine Bow, Rabbit Valley, North Fruita Desert, GMUG either. Not yet as crazy as right around the Front Range but their insanity has pushed a lot of people further out everywhere. Same seems to have happened to Moab, which is stupid insane anymore, so places in Emery County or along the state line are overrun with people avoiding it.

And to make it worse since everyone's been worked into a frenzy to be afraid of their own shadows they don't spend any money in town, which we desperately need. We don't have the wealth base you or Vail/Eagle/Steamboat/etc have to backstop the hemorrhaging of city and county funding from lost tourism and oil & gas stopping.

idk if you're in Ouray, but I was there for the first time a month ago. Theres a Thai place on the main road. They will get all my money any time I go through there. I love Thai food, pineapple fried rice especially. I thought Seattle would have good stuff, they did. SF had some good stuff too. But idk, that place is Ouray was spot on. The bar food across the street was ok, but glad I was able to fit in Thai after that.

Edit* Your profile on the left shows GJ. Was there before Ouray. All city bbq was pretty good, nothing too crazy. The brisket plate was like 25% fat, not my cup of tea. The pork was pretty good and their sauces were fire. Place was packed when I got my to-go order
