Can I purchase everything (tank valve, regulator, hose and pressure gauge) but the tank since I have a few dive tanks left over?

 

Yeah you can, the dive tank has a different valve so you'll need an adaptor that I don't sell and you may run into problems having it fill with Co2..... you really should consider a nice new aluminum bottle with a fresh date on it, and handle. For what I sell the complete systems for you are paying less than $100 for the bottle..... and I can powder coat it a fancy color for you!

What size cylinder is this, 20 lb?

 

Also consider the PSI a scuba tank uses. I'm not sure what the PSI in a Co2 bottle is but even an LP steel scuba tank is 2440 psi. An HP Steel tank can be 3500 PSI.
Will the CO2 regulator handle that?

You could find a used scuba 1st stage regulator and plug all the holes except one of the low pressure holes, run a long hose with a low pressure inflator couple on it to an accessory like a tire inflator. The low pressure holes on a scuba reg are like 150psi.

Like instant air supply said make sure your scuba tanks have a current hydro and make sure you can even put CO2 in them. Perhaps you could use air? I'm not sure if CO2 condenses the same as air so the volume in the scuba tank might be different.

 

Do you deal with Nitrogen tanks or regulators?

 

No I don't, sorry. Maybe in the future. Hard to find the time to expand!

Thanks. I went with the PowerTank boot from Amazon. Slipped on with some muscle and seems nice and tight.
