Hey guys, quick question....I'm heading back from Blythe this Sunday and was wondering if there were any cool little trails/mines/etc to check out on the way home? I was debating taking Bradshaw trail a chunk of the way home and was hoping to find some interesting sights along the way. That or Red Canyon or Corn Springs...

 

i personally haven't been on any of the trails you mentioned, just looked them up and look like really good trails to go on an adventure though! The only other trail id offer is Berdoo Canyon, it's nice going through the canyons but you'd have to drive north for a bit on cotton wood springs just to head south again and get dropped off in Indio Hills.

I’m planning an overnight trip to Joshua tree Sunday 3/25.
Bro lo and I we’re gonna do some plinking and wheel in from berdoo canyon trail.
If anyone is wheeling that day let me know, I’d love to explore with someone already familiar with the area.

 

you guys doing Berdoo to old dale? or you camping in the park?

 

Not sure,
Just kinda planned berdoo to our camp at jumbo rocks and wing it from there once we get established.
I’ve read old dale mining district can be gnarly in some spots- can you confirm?
I’m a stock long bed,
I got tires and 4x4 but for the most part I’ll be limited in what I can handle, but obviously more comfortable if other vehicles are around.

 

there's just one section/climb where it can be and you'd have to choose a good line to make sure you don't kiss any rock with your underside since your stock. I've made it up with a 2wd open-dif in the past (i'm locked know and its way easier) but 4x4 can make it up no sweat.
Old dale will shoot you out way east of Jumbo rock though, but if nothing comes up i'm down to at least hit bedroo you all.

When you say way east, does that mean we’ll be in truck most of the day?
