I just started tacking my Coastal offroad front bumper together. I have one wing 80%. The instructions aren't awesome but they are ok. 1st 6 steps are tough to get through in my opinion.

I cut some wood to 1/2 thick to space the bumper. I also lengthened the mounting holes by 1/4 inch.

Felt like a lot of brackets came off the front end in order to create the clearance this needs, the mounts that hold the bottom of the headlights will need to be sorted out as I had remove them to make room.

Edit... Got the bottom pieces to the passenger side wing done tonight. I'll start on the driver side wing tomorrow.

Time for grinding and paint. No complaints about the kit so far, only thing that didn't really fit was the mounting holes. I had to drill them out a little bit to add adjustability in order to try and close the gaps on the wings, still not super happy with the fitment, probably gonna mess around with that a little more.

@ColbyZarba I have the single hoop option as well which I haven't installed yet, Could you take a picture of how close the grill the tubing ends up.

Also I'm having a bit of an issue. When I weld my practice 3/16 pieces I get a decent bead but as soon as I weld on the bumper it's like it's a WAY different material or something. So my question is did you have any issues welding it?

There's "Mill scale" on the new steel that will need to be cleaned off before welding as it'll interfere with the weld. That's my guess as to whats different between your test pieces and the bumper metal.

no issues really, I used acetone to clean the plates before I began. I enjoy working with the thicker stuff because its a little bit harder to mess up. For me the bead doesn't have to be perfect as I'm going to be grinding it all nice and smooth.

I will attach side angle photos of the hoop later today, I will say one thing, it is a lot closer to the grill than most of the other hoops I have seen, it doesn't contact the grill, but I can barely get a finger in between the two, I was going to cut the tube at an angle on the bottom in order to get it a little more pushed out, but I really liked the way it lined up with the grill, its almost a perfect fit when looking at it from the front, you are able to see the whole grill.

Heres a photo from the front with the hoop. You can see what I am talking about here, the whole grill insert is visible, so if you wanted to do a satoshi or something it wouldn't cover up the center of the grill.
