so that’s what the bed bar looks like?

    From their FAQ page: "
The body lift option is only for if you have a body lift installed on your vehicle. If you have any type of suspension lift (coilovers, new shocks and coils, spacer lifts, leveling kits, etc) you will want to select the "no body lift" option. This is because while a suspension lift raises the entire vehicle together, a body lift only spaces the body off of the frame. Since our bumpers are mounted to the vehicle’s frame, a body lift will result in the bumper being left behind while the truck body moves upwards by the height of the body lift. This will result in an unsightly gap between the bumper and body. The 1" body lift version of the bumper is designed to be 1" taller to correct for this gap created by the body lift. To achieve this, we actually re-dimension the entire bumper to ensure a perfect fit and great proportions!

It is highly recommended to plan your bumper and body lift together at the same time."

Never posted here but I installed my Coastal bumper back in Dec. after a long slow build while I learned to weld and 2 tries at the powder coater.

Made from a piece of thin plate I had lying around. Drilled a hole in the bumper for the wiring. It does hang down lower than the bumper as the license plate is taller than the bumper, even if you were to put it at an angle. The lack of good mounting options is probably one of the worst parts of this kit. I'm considering adding a swingarm, and if I go that route I'll move it there.

Couple weeks ago I ordered a 3rd gen rear up, and they made sure I got their updated bumper which comes with a pre-bent center instead of having to weld together the center portion. Top quality customer service
Kit went together perfect, and I made a fancy flip up license plate bracket with lights, took it to Moab a couple days after I got the bumper done and destroyed my license plate/license plate bracket lol. Think I'm going to fab up a tire carrier and mount the plate on it.

Anyone else having issues getting all the pieces for their bumper? I am on round number three stretching over 2 months of waiting for various parts to make it in. First shipment had a box get lost by fedex. No big deal it happens sent out a very through inventory of what I was missing and only get half of it when they reship. Send over another inventory of what I’m missing and still don’t get everything back. Glad I waited until I had all the parts to start this project. I was wanting to use them for skid plates and bumpers on other vehicles but the lack of QA in shipping is making me rethink that.

Has anyone seen a center cutout in the front high clearance bumper for a dual beam light bar I don't see why it can't be done with a cut wheel but wondering if anyone has done it yet.

Don't see why it cant be done, but would probably have to make new mounts to center the light bar. Winch clearence could be an issue as well, depending on your truck/bumper/winch combo.

The front bumper was a great project. I'm hoping I can order the HC rear in the next few months to round it out ... don't underestimate the time / amount of grinding once it's all put together.

... first I have my work cut out for me (literally) getting these tires to clear.

Their new 3rd gen Extreme Clearance front! Gain's 4.5'' of clearance by replacing the thin, low hanging crossmember and welds a new 1/4'' thick one in between the frame rails.

Agreed! Also recessed the fairlead in a bit, plated the whole front frame rails, and added a couple more mounting bolts on top the original 9 bolts the bumper had. After that stuff the bumper is finally the weak point instead of the weak frame, as I have tweaked the bumper some and dented it a bit, but its expected when you use the bumper as a shovel on a 6k lb rig.

Has anyone ordered from Coastal recently? Just wondering how the lead times are. I placed an order about 3 weeks ago but have not heard anything as of yet.
