Not difficult at all, just have to be careful taking the other one off the grill (tabs). I ordered the bezel from my local dealer. They give me 10% off. Part number is in the first post.

So I was looking at maybe buying a black exaust tip or painting mine until my cousin told me he would powder coat it for me this week with some other parts he's running.

That thing is really a pain in the coin purse to get off the pipe....

Also, I bought a scoop light.

    Damn it all.

    Still need springs.

I'm sitting here, reading through this thread and noticing a pattern of ordering. In other words, I say I'm not going to do something, then have a few beers and order the stuff anyway. The spread sheet I'm running is ridiculous at this point for money spent/"value" added, and I think (LMAO), I should stop ordering shit after I figure out what springs I need, and figure out where to put a scoop light switch. The good news is, I'm not paying for labor (I think this is good news)....

Curiosity got the best of me yesterday and I did a pre-lift measurement on all the sides.

    DF- 35-1/8" PF - 35-1/4
    DR - 35-5/8 PR - 36

WTF? My truck is pretty level as is honestly. Truck tires are at 37 PSI. Measured from ground to top of wheel well.

    Thanks. I'm trying to just:
    a. not get in trouble with wife,
    b. tastefully get it done while adding functionality

Just ordered my springs and a 1/4" spacer for "Taco Lean".

@CoastieRon i love the build so far! Two things, i see you’re a local dude, so i wanted to pass the word. Right before i traded in for my taco, my local mechanic that issues inspections stickers told me that some new dumb law only allows for a total of 3 added lights, including the fog lights, to be installed on a car, and any added auxiliary lights must be covered unless off roading. I find it ridiculous but i figured I’d pass the word along. Also wanted to know how much that lift kit lifts and if it affects the confort of the ride at all. I wanna lift mine but I’m a little leery as to how it will be affected after the lift.

Ooooh. Stupid laws. I'll have to look into that. As for covering the light in the scoop, I bet I can come up with a solution for that on inspection day.

As soon as I get the lift stuff installed, I'll post my numbers. I opted for a small lift, I'm looking more for a little added hauling ability hence the AAL. I "should" get 1.25 in the front and 1.5 in the rear. I have a ton going on for the next few weekends, so I don't know what big stuff I'll be able to do. The lift I'm doing at my cousin's garage on his lift system, and he's done a few, so I'm not too worried about how long it will take, but when our schedules align again.

Stupid laws. I wish they'd get rid of the tint law. If I run for State Rep again, that'll be on my radar....

@CoastieRon yea, the law is asinine, clear cash grab. And i wasn’t even aware of the tint law. Is there a certain allowable level or is it stock only? I’m looking forward to hear from you regarding the lift though, i plan on doing a 3” but no more than that, i think ride quality and MPG will be too affected. I also need to get more familiar with the difference in height from front to back, i just got my taco 2 weeks ago and haven’t read into what the front and back height difference is. It’s the same as yours though.

Meh. The tinting is pretty obvious. The scoop light, not so sure. I can always go to DTM. They did all my Audi's inspections (and most of the work on it too.)

And another thing, that revision is 2015. I see people with ditch lights and roll bar lights and all sorts of shit evin in Nashua, so I call bullshit on the enforcement....
