ooo a mind reader.....that's exactly what I thought of the commentary about selling a brand new box and especially arguing with mods about FS rules.

 

No arguement... The rule is not written like you perceive it..

 

Paypal protects the buyer enough... Ive sold stuff in the box new before... No issues

 

im not arguing with my man im simply stating that your rules do not state it has to be out of the box... Change it and this all goes away.

Otherwise the rule is written as I have stated above... Just can't be a stock photo from google images....

Looks to me like he is selling a locker... Tells me what it is with the packaging... If I am serious about buying it Ill ask him to open the box if it were BNIB... As usuall this one is an OB because he had to inorder to know he bought the wrong one...

Id still feel just as comfortable buying this box as I would anything else here via paypal because if its not what you were described by the owner than you are good to go with getting a claim and recieving your money back.

 

Wow, bet no one ever knew about the paypal protection. Bet they don't know that your bank card tied to it backs it up even further. Now that's news people can use. The only thing that is BNIB is what is in a store or wharehouse. Once you walk out with it and hang on to it for whatever timeframe and then decide to sell it, it is not BNIB, it is uninstalled or unused or unopened. Since we wanna be all technical about how the rules are written why not get technical about the sale item? Whether the box is shrink wrapped or unopened doesn't mean shit unless some collector is buying it and never opening it like some star wars action figure or something. Generally people open the box and install whatever was bought so the box and shrink wrap are irrelevant and garbage can filler.


BTW, in that linked thread there is nothing saying BNIB. It says "never installed" and the boxes are clearly opened. Good example of BNIB and never installed being 2 technically different things. But there is no pic of items out of the box. Now all you have to do is go thru every FS thread and complete a statistical analysis to impress the mods and change their minds.
