About 25,000 roughly. They’ve been beat up on trails and never had a proper alignment. And my rotation scedule is terrible lol. If I were to just use my truck as a truck there is no doubt in my mind they’d make it to 40-45,000 but I replace tires long before they’re useable life is up. I’m most likely going to repurpose them onto another truck I have to finish out they’re life

Been an while but I’m stuck home this week off of work due to a back injury so I figured I have plenty of time to do a little updating. Not a lot has been going on since I bought the house but I did go on a pretty awesome trip with some of the guys down to Virginia again to do the Potts mountian Jeep trail. It was an awesome trail and we planned enough time to run it in both directions so it really felt like we ran two trails. We planned it so we actually had a lot of relax time at camp each day aswell so it was a very intense but also very relaxing trip and we all took a stab at some awesome new camp cooking recipes. @Chux and I actually arrived at camp a day early so we had a whole day to explore (after awaking to severe store alerts and confirmed tornado touchdowns in the area on the radio) before @avw4x4 and our buddy Matt showed up Friday afternoon it was cool having a chance to stay in touch with them using the Somewear satellite hotspot. It’s a device that links your phone to a satellite so you can remain in contact with anyone in your contact list for brief updates or emergencies. For total shit hitting the fan moments it also has a SOS button. Anyway it’s definitely a uneasy feeling hearing a storm alert telling you to remain indoors and not to go in vehicles when all you have is a vehicle. So whether it be the right decision or not we decided to drive up the mountain after remembering from a previous trip watching a thunderstorm pass through a valley below us while we were standing in clear blue sky’s. And if nothing else if a tornado did come the trees were smaller up there, not the 100’ tall 36” diameter pines we were camped near. At the top we had cell service again so we could see the storm had passed around us. Once we got back down to the bottom it was apparent that we made the right call as the roads were flooded and full of debris. Andrew and Matt said it took them close to 3 hours longer than planned to get to camp because of road closures and detours. Anyway on to the pics, I’ll let them speak for themselves feel free to ask questions. Pics in the next post

Is there a subscription with the Somewear device? Or once you've bought it you're good to go

Yea there are different tiers of subscription with various pricing. I did the second tier and it’s like $15 a month. They were supposed to be working on a way to pause the subscription so if you go a few months between trips you’re not waisting money but I haven’t checked it in a while. I honestly forgot about that until just now lol
    me too hahaha.

There was a wicked downpour that came through that added to the already flooded area. Mandrew wasn’t setup yet so chux took his truck and scouted another spot a couple miles up the road. We moved to avoid this. That’s 3 tredz for reference. One of them is the thickness of two maxtrax

@Nimble9 depends on the trip... Each trip is different, some easier than others. Harder trails smaller group. You shoulda came to FPK for my bday last year :tumbleweed:

I recently had two trips fall through due to circumstances. I got nothing planned at the moment.

You got any trips coming up?

Hahaha my spout condom!? It keeps the road grit outta the spout! And I know, I’m actually looking at one fairly local to me right now!

I wanted to, but I think we’d had another thing planned that day!

My gf has something planned for my b day, but other than that not yet. I have a few routes I made through different state forests, but with how I made them it’s all gravel road and not hard at all lol

I want to check out more of the north though. Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, etc

Just like Mandrew, trip invites swing both ways my man. I totally understand people liking smaller groups or private trips, but if you ever plan a trip for a public group I’m down to see new things and meet new people
