    Iv made it to lv31 with a few of my friends, but just a hint it is way easier if you just play a solo round. Iv made it to lv37 in solo. Also if any one wants to play some tonight Im sure Ill be on. jabsrt10 is my username on Xbox.

    I am using the A linksys wrt54g v6 router. I have been on xbox forums all day trying to figure out the best combination to get for my Black ops to say open instead of strict. WHen i set the xbox as a static Ip it get a stritic nat. but when i do automatic it say open. I need to try out some friends to see if have fixed the problems or not.

    if it's not 10.x.x.x, 172.16.x.x-172.32.x.x, or 192.168.x.x, then it's public. that's why the NAT is strict b/c you are not using NAT. when you set the xbox to auto, it's pulling a NAT address from the router and that's how you are open.

    when you set to auto, you should still be able to see the IP and it's more than likely a 192.168.x.x address.

    hmm ok. Because on the certain xbox forums i was reading to put my xbox in the DMz of my router. Make sure Upnp was enable and have ports forwarding. Everybody had like Conflicting ideas on how to get it to work for Wrt54g.
