    AD537D76-DB19-4AF9-B63A-7730448EBCC0.jpg Replaced both the knock sensor harness and the knock sensors but it looks to have been the knock sensor harness.

    After carefully pulling back all the plastic and tape I discovered this part of the wire was exposed and frayed.

    The part of the wire that was damaged was the part that was taped to a plastic Tab that locks into a pipe (I believe a heater core return) on the top of my the engine block.

    It was this part of the wire that was damaged underneath several layers of tape and plastic
