Codes p0440 and P0446. Fixing

    Don't know if there is a difference on the systems 4 cylinder v.s. 6 cylinder? I have a 3.4l and from what I see, there are 3 VSV solenoids on mine. 2 under hood and one at canister behind gas tank. I checked the 2 under hood. The one on top had a good clicking sound with 9 volt battery. The one below...all I could hear was the sparking with wire touching 9 volt battery. My question is, should all VSV solenoids make the clicking sound? If so, I think I found my issue for the p0446 code. The VSV (evap) solenoid.

    Yes you should hear the vsv actuate. If I remember correctly, you should be able to find a replacement. I was able to find an OEM replacement for my vsv for evap that went bad. No problem with codes since then.

    Check to make sure the clamps on your hoses are tight... don't ask why Im saying that lol...

    I checked them, but I believe you agree with me this clámps are like you can’t tight them, unless I replace them for those little ones that have the little screw so I can tight them.

    Yea I replaced mine with one of those screw on ones and apperently it was not clamping well... expensive fix lol
