I did this same thing when I got the current truck. Look at the OP in my truck build and you'll see what I did. People can click on the link and it takes them directly to the OP for the new truck. I debated starting a new thread but found ths to just be easier. Then you can even use it to go strait to this OP and update whenever you want to.

Edit: never mind I see you already did it.

You can be at a really high altitude, but not have a steep grade. Its all about the increase of elevation over a short period of time.

Honestly, as someone who has hiked a bit, Id rather walk 16 miles gradually than have to power through 5 miles of straight incline. In fact, roughest VA hike I've done was up an access road down in Buffalo Gap, going up to 2,425 ft, But it wasnt on the normal trail. The easy route takes around 6 hours, the route we took was 2hours. Straight up.

    It was Elliot knob.
Yo that shit sucked worse coming down.

    But did you die thou?

But for real, worse one for me was a forced ruck, 26miles, with 60lb pack.

My legs were jelly after that. I think I passed out and just kept going.

It was less than pleasant. The worst was when we thought it was over. Dude dropped the platoon guidon. Senior drill was pissed and made us don our mopsuits and masks and run up and down the mtn. Fuckers were passing out, puking, and running into trees. Guidon never got dropped again

we didnt done full MOP, but we went to masks. We didnt do anything wrong but "miss" our turn, so we went all the way around again.

I was a road guard. God I remember running just to keep awake, and that was at sill, in the summer

HA! I had Knox in the winter. This was in '85 and they had never heard of sensitivity training yet. None of it is fun but it does what is needed. i know a few guys even a couple on here that should have had the pleasure

In 2007 when I went through it was still male only at sill, and we got what people call now "hazed".

I mean, fuck I got caped for 5 hours, for disobeying the overall GOD. He read me my charge and sentenced me and a bunch of others in front of formation. I was the only one with that charge.

I had no idea what that meant, and asked the ds after, he looked at me and stated, the good order and discipline of my army.

I almost fucking laughed in his face it was so goddamn funny
