Alright guys. Well I've owned my truck for over three years now. This build has been a long time coming. Its not nearly where i want it to be yet but we are getting there. Many rigs on here have inspired me over the last few years and can't thank everyone enough. The knowledge i have gained since joining TacomaWorld is just incredible. Now to start:

    2014 Tacoma DoubleCab Prerunner. 2.7 Liter, 2wd.

Went with the 4 cylinder because I was a broke college student and it was within my budget. If i could go back, i would definitely get the V6 and maybe 4wd, but love this thing to death and plan on keeping it for a very long time.

How she Looked the day i bought her:
    day one truck.jpg

After only having her for a few weeks, decided to do my first mods. Got a pair of Billstein 5100 Series shocks in the front (set at 2.5") 16x8 Raceline Raptor Wheels and 265/75/16 BFG All Terrains:
    first upgrade.jpg

I Eventually would upgrade to 285/75/16 BFG All Terrains with the 4 Inch Maxtrac Spindle lift, rear billstein 5100's and a 2 inch lift block, unfortunately can't find any pictures of that day.

Than decided I wanted bigger tires. Next Came the 315/75/16 Falken WildPeak A/T's. I set my front billsteins at 2.5" and shoved those suckers on. Felt like i was driving a monster truck at first but was very happy with the look:
    truckwheel[1].jpg

Than decided I was over the Raceline Raptor wheels and wanted something different. I always loved Method wheels and decided to treat myself to a set of double standards:

    Methods.jpg

At this point I was in Love with the truck, but wanted something more. It had the look but i wanted the off-roading capabilities and to be able to have some fun. In comes my wallet with TacomaWorld (with exception of all-pro leaf pack, bought that new) i bought some slightly used items that were really an upgrade. King Extended Travel coil overs, Camburg Uniball UCA's, Icon 2.5 V.S Rear Resi shocks:

Absolutely loved the way the truck handled. Got everything put on and headed out to Havasu that same weekend to kick off summer and was quickly impressed with the truck (wasn't doing anything too crazy but man the truck was fun) Also those summer havasu nights are something else:

Next came the grill mod. I always kind of hated the look of the stock grill, so i bought a slightly used mesh grill, plasti dipped it black, and bought the BAMF behind the grill light bar mount and the 20" Single row bar:

The latest mod was the front bumper. I wanted something that looked great, and offered a little more protection. In comes Bent Motorsports. A really good buddy I've mine owns the company and i brought my truck in and we got to work (wish i had more pics of them fabricating it):

We couldn't bust it out in one day. Had to go back the following week to get the skid plate finished. To my surprise when i got there, it was already done! Just had to drill the holes and mount it on there. Simple and quick step. Took her back home and snapped the picture the next day in the daylight. Raw Metal for about a week than it went to JBM Motoring in anaheim for powdercoating:

That's where I'm at so far with the build. Its been a slow but fun process and i have truly enjoyed the adventure so far. I thank everyone on here. TacomaWorld definitely feels like a second family and everyone on here is so helpful and awesome. Builds not yet done and theres more to come! I would love everyones input, what you think, any suggestions, and criticism is welcome! I appreciate you guys checking it out!

Nice setup!, I'm going with a similar setup up front. How much are your kings cranked up to? I want to crank my kings all the way down when I install my Maxtrac spindles.

Thanks man! I'm pretty sure extended travel kings come preloaded at 2 inches already (could be wrong) so I would assume they're set at 2 inches! It's a nice setup for sure. Love it. Little bit of a bro lean but nothing to crazy. Truck rides like a dream with the current setup

Nice, I'm going with all pro standard s in the back so if i leave my kings cranked up I feel like ill have too much of a bro lean. That custom front bumper looks awesome!

That's what I've got in the back. And with the kings cranked there's definitely a lean but nothing too crazy. Especially if you don't have any weight in the bed. And thanks dude! Guys at bent motorsports in San Marcos do great work. Definitely changed the look of my truck!

Well that's a bummer:mad: but yeah dude . Definitely hit me up

    Like, so many.
How much of a hit did you take to your power by going so big on the tires?

Honestly, not a lot. Trucks re geared, k&n intake, jetforce programmer, the truck still gets going. I mean it's no v6 or v8 but when you're behind the wheel, you can't even tell it's a 4 banger . Very seldom does it struggle getting up any hill or anything like that

You seem like a guy who enjoys working on trucks and actually taking them off road. You've put a lot of money and effort into making it off road capable. Have you considered selling your current truck to get a 4WD so you can really push the envelope? I bet you could sell your truck for a good bit.

    Thanks man!

I would be lying if I said it hasn't crossed my mind. Lol. And who knows. May happen later down the road but for now I'm going to keep building it until it's time for a new project!

They will be available for sale once I order my LT kit and the coilovers are off my truck. Probably within a few weeks. Pm me. I obviously haven't put them up for sale yet but if you want them, since you reached out first, They're yours.
