    Stuff. Also things.
DD is where it's at. Rolling a 2004 Legacy that's nothing special, but it gets good mileage, does great in the snow, and it has bailed me out for the last month with my truck being in pieces in the garage.

I want an NB Miata to zip around in. I found a nice looking one for $4000 the other day, but for that money I could get a WR250R...

its a vibration that starts somewhere around 50-65 mph more or less.. its sometimes somewhat slight mostly when im on the gas, and it seems like it somewhat comes back when i let off the gas? if that makes sense.. i can feel a slight vibe in the gas pedal but its mostly making my steering wheel shimmy back and forth.. its basically been doing it more or less sense ive owned the truck!! so ive gotten new tires since then.
Im going in for a alignment tomorrow, then into discount for a wheel balance. ive shaken down the front end a few times, everything looks okay.. im at a loss. maybe a steering rack? wheel bearing? the only thing ive found is a broken cv boot.. and it seems like theres some play in that.. but thats some what of a recent thing..

Honestly just sounds like a bad balance job. Bad ball joints can do that too. Wheel bearing wouldn't do it at variable speeds like that I don't think

That would be where I start. That's also the cheapest route out of your other options.

for sure, it will be free, ive gotten about 3 other balances within the life of owning the truck and havent fixed it.. ive heard aluminum wheels can be a pain to balance, maybe i need new rims? i guess it could of just been an incompetent person balancing.. its just discount tire, maybe i need to go to a 4x4 shop

thats the plan if i actually am getting rims.. could that possible be the issue??? can u bend a aluminum rim? or there just not balanced correctly, i wonder if new rims would even help..

I have no idea tbh. You could try ball joints next :notsure:

I have a small vibe when I'm going super slow or sitting in traffic. No clue what it is

yeah.. ill check the upper and lowers again.. anyone know if sloppy cv axle could be the culprit?

yes you can bend one. i've always heard bigger tires are harder to keep balanced. the stock wheels i had were a huge PIA.

IMO i wouldn't think so. I've driven around on bad CVS normally they just click. And if they were generating vibration i would think it would be consistent.
