Is that tape tab only on one coil?
Referring to the tape at the upper left of the right side coil, marked blue yellow.

Yes, the owner "thought" that was the driver side. He marked it with that, but said I should check around.

Alright, I'll let the shop know. I may ask them if they wouldn't mind checking some resources to validate my findings. Now that I think about it, when I got my spacer installed he said he can identify coils based on some code system. I guess we will find out soon enough!

Fuck that. Just tell them here are my coils. Let them get it right or get it wrong and then fix it on their dime. They're smart enough, and you don't need the responsibility of a guessing game.

If it's backwards after they're installed your truck will be noticeably leaning. Then you can say, "I think you have the coils reversed."

    Let them do it.

Haha I suppose I could do that. Least they couldn't come back on me and say that's what I told them to do. Thanks for saving me some hassle if they don't do it right. I just hope my truck will be back before the weekend if it isn't done correctly!

30 minutes per side is all they need.

How bad does it lean if they don't install it correctly?

Alright, I'll cross my fingers and hope for the best. You know how shops are. They don't get in any hurry.

The ones I took off my son's 2015 DCSB Sport 4x4 had the yellow/lt blue on the driver's side and darker blue/pinkish on the passenger's side. Since I have lifted 5 of my personal Tacomas, I knew they were different and marked them immediately.

I dropped the truck off this afternoon around 12:30, but they didn't call me if it was complete. It'll be tomorrow sometime when they are finished. One more day :annoyed:

I got them installed at the .85 setting and it is sitting nose high again! One inch block is going to go in the rear to hopefully level it out. This has been a huge headache. The shop is going to have to keep it till Monday, so they can perform the alignment.

Interesting. Your rear is either hagged out hardcore or you got more than .85 like I did.
