I understand the 5100/6112 clip strategy, but for coilovers like the 2.5 Fox/Icon/Kings/etc... can these be adjusted without compressing or otherwise removing from the truck?

Yes. Jack up the truck from the frame so the suspension droops until the tires are just off the ground and you can rotate the adjustment collar with the proper tool. Some have set screws in the collar you need to loosen first.

Sometimes it’s difficult when you’re dealing with a remote reservoir shock though.

Makes sense. I'm all stock now, so if I were to put these on now, run them at a "leveling" setting and then later bump them up for another 1" I should be able to do this without compressing or removing, right? (I know it's kinda the same question, bear with me). Thanks

Correct. Your alignment will change though. You’ll want to figure out exactly where you want to set them before you get an alignment.

its in your best interest to purchase a life time alignment plan from a automotive shop as if you have any desire to go fast in the dirt due to your upgraded suspension, you will knock the alignment out once a week as i do lol.
