My son drove my truck home today and I could here him coming up the road. Loud noise coming from the vicinity of the #1 Cylinder. You can see sparks coming under the coil pack and there appears to be oil seeping our from under it. I purchased plugs and wires this week with the intention of replacing them this soon. Does this sound like a coil pack gone bad or something worse? Possibly spark plug blown out? The noise sounds like air being pushed. I have a video from my cell phone I was going to attach if I can figure how to do it,

    That does not sound good.

Hope it is not too bad. Sounds like plug blown out if you can hear it sucking air

Have you pulled the coil pack to see if there's oil on the boot? Also, pull the plug to check it out. Examine the coil pack, might be cracked which may be why your seeing sparks. Either way check it out or have it diagnosed before you drive it and possibly cause more damage.

I'll have to wait until I can get my son, or someone to pull the coil and check it for me.
