Since buying a toytec 3" with the 884 coils for my reg cab 4 cyl I succumbed to the group buy and picked up the ARB/winch combo. I called TOYTEC and they recommended upgrading to the 885 but honestly he didnt sound all that confident on the phone. Does anybody have any first hand experience with the correct spring for a reg cab with ARB bumper and winch?

I dont have any first hand experience with a regular cab, plate bumper and winch, but with what i have learned and the experience i have with my truck (access cab) and messing with the coils on it, i would with out a doubt go with 885s. If you add sliders or skids later on and you dont, you will be sorry you didnt. Just my opinion. With the bumper and winch i bet it dosent ride bad at all. I would wait and do it all at the same time though. I put my All Pro bumper on (lighter than ARB) im still waiting on my winch, it alone dropped the front of my truck 1/2" with 885s. At the time i bought the coils i hadnt planned on the bumper that is why i have them.

Hope that helps in your decision. Dont ever see much feed back from regular cab owners on here.

Thank you for the feedback! I searched the forums before asking and had trouble finding a setup similar to what im looking at building.

    From Toytec:

"Front coils: Choose from options 884 coils for std and x cab models, 885 coils for D cab and additional weight, 886 coils for 200+ front weight from aftermarket bumper or winch"

They don't mention that the 886 is for double cabs only or not and I think that might be too high of a spring rate. If they say 885's ask about the 887 coil. It's the same spring rate as the 885 just a few mm's taller. Might be a good option.

I would recommend calling a them and asking. My gut says 885 with no top plate spacer but I could be wrong. I usually answer access cab and double cab lift questions
