I currently have bilstein 5100’s with stock springs on the 2nd setting (.65”). The ride is stiffer than I’d like. Are there any coil springs I could get that would give me about the same lift or maybe a little more and make the ride softer?

OME springs are softer. What kind of lift are you looking for?

    Try lowering the tire pressure.

I only have 265/70/17’s so I really want only 1”-1.5” at the most. Does OME have a spring that will give me that small of a lift and ride better than the stock springs on the second setting on the 5100’s (.65”)? Ik they have charts on their website but it’s confusing to me. Any help is appreciated.

Are the coils the same on a Sport as an Off Road? I ask, cause my ride stayed the same, and I went the full 2". If anything it went better due to the no more OEM brake dive.

Yes the 885 with the 5100 set on the bottom clip. I have a nice set of 885 for sale. Here's a thread and Technique has them in the 2nd post.

Ik the struts are different not sure about springs, I originally went to the 1.5” setting but lowered it because the ride was too harsh. It’s crazy how mixed the reviews are for the 5100’s, some people think they’re smoother than stock and others like me think they’re stiff. I do live in Louisiana where all the roads suck so maybe that’s part of the issue.

Are the 885’s longer than the stocks to give it the lift? If so wouldn’t that make them be compresses more and make the ride stiffer? Sorry for all the questions I’m just trying to understand haha.

Yes they are longer but they have less spring rate so they are a little softer.

Ok thanks for the help, I wouldn’t get them right now but how much are you asking for your used ones?

Ok seems like a good deal, if I decide to go with the 885’s I’ll let you know.
