I drive a 2016 trd sport 4x4. I have a little over 8k miles on it. I just recently had the icon stage 1 kit installed which comes with new coilovers and shocks. The first day after the install I noticed a binding/clicking coming from the front driver side when almost stopped and when I first start moving again. It doesn't start right away when I first start driving it usually takes a couple minutes. I've looked at the cv angles and they seem fine and I've also checked the tightness of the hardware. Has anyone had a similar experience? I have a hard time believing it's something giving out on such a new truck and I hope it's not the actual coilover. Please help!

Did you install the sway bar relocate spacer as well? Depending on where you ordered your kit and who did the install, it could have been left out.

Check your spring/sway bar for contact.

did you loosen the lower control arm bolts? They will click and pop if a little loose. Torque is about 100#. BUT also remember that you have removed the rubber cushions that separate the suspension bits from the metal body. You will get a little bit more "racing noises".

Don't you have to run aftermarket UCA's with Icon's?

That could be it I'll look at that. It's actually quieted some. Might be because they're new?

I don't think you have to. The stage one kits come with the coilovers and rear shocks and the stage two comes with that plus the upper control arms.

I'm having a similar issue with my OME lift. I have aftermarket UCA's installed. It's been about a month and a half since I had it installed. I get a clicking sound only when the truck is in drive and at a complete stop. It sounds worse inside the cabin than outside. I have yet to pin point the noise.

I can't hear mine inside at all. It's dualing out now but can still hear it if I have the window down and almost at a stop and when I first accelerate. I feel like it's something super simple that's right in front of my nose.

Yeah, I wouldn't be crazy worried about it. As long as everything is tight and aligned good, think you'll be fine.
