Just recently purchased sway away coilovers from a member and I have a three inch lift and was wondering if I should set them to 3 in or 2.5 in. another question if I do it to 3 in. would it be a stiff ride

If you can clear your tires, I would set them at 2.5". Less preload = smoother ride

Let me know if I'm reading this right, but it sounds like you already have a 3" spacer on your truck. If so, take the spacer off. Do no stack lifts.

I think youll be able to clear with them at 2.5". If not, than you can adjust them up. But start out with 2.5" and go up until you have the clearance you need. Will allow for a smoother ride and the clearance you need. Theoretically.
