I found a pair of Race Runner coilovers on RDC and i am planning on getting them but they are lifted a little too high for my liking. How do i go about adjusting them? Do i just use the spanner wrench to lower them or is it more complex than this? Any input appreciated.

I don't know about Race Runners, but most adjustable coilovers are pretty much the same. My Icon's just have a lock screw that gets loosened and then I just use the spanner wrench to adjust the "collar" above the spring, then lock it back into place. Some coilovers have two collars that act as lock nuts once adjusted and re tightened . Keep in mind clearence and your ball joint angles as well if you adjust while they are installed. Hope this helps.:cookiemonster:

jack the truck up off the ground, loosen the set screw, turn collar with spanner in the direction you want, retighten set screw and your good to go. sometimes it can take alot of force to turn the collar. they get kinda tight, i just spray alot of WD 40 like 15 min before and it works well for me.
