coilovers rebuilt

    hey guys i found some used coilovers for sale...and the guy said theres no leaks they just need to be nitrogen charged up....my question is should i just get them rebuilt....and when you rebuild coilovers will they be like brand new and last me a long time?

    they are sway away 2.0 racerunners..but my question is after i rebuild them will they be like new....and last me a while

    Engage Offroad long travel front and rear with some fat tires.
    depends how you drive...

    2.0s are small and have been reputed to blow seals more often...

    2.5s are bigger and a bit stronger... a number of your higher end coilovers are 2.5 body...

    although, typically, 2.0s are cheaper to come by...

    oh, to answer your questions, rebuilt coilovers are pretty much like new as you would replace the seals, shock oil, and nitro... assuming the shafts are still good with no dead spots and big chips, it should perform like new and last just as long...

    def get them rebuilt before they go on the truck, better safe than sorry and it's gonna be much easier to do it now as opposed to installing them and then having to take them off again later down the road...
