Cold air intake issue

    No money, all went to truck...
    Deck plate mod!! Removing the fender snorkel in the old trucks/4rs was also the way to go. There was a guy that dynoed all the different combos and deck plate or snorkel removed plus amsoil filter was the best combo. I believe is increased 15 HP on the dyno. For real. Pair that with the supercharger and things got nuts.

    I can add this to the mix. If you use a tube like the HSI, be damn careful tightening the clamp at the factory air box. The outlet tube is very easy to crush/deform.

    I drilled a 2 1/4” wide hole and stuck a coolant hose going through the sidewall, same side right next to the factory intake hose. Having drilled into the side wall myself, you want to pull the intake for more room.
    it pulls more of the same air through that tube instead of the engine bay. Keeping it cool.
    Basically a smaller second intake tube parallel to the stock one. Shouldnt really be a setback, might maybe notice a slight difference in pep.
