Yes they are the DK standard LCA. I run Fox Factory Series 2.5 up front. If we are thinking of the same thing for "bushing lower rod end coil-overs" than yes they are compatible. On the other hand I am not sure which LCA would not be...and why it would not be.

 

Op. What were you hoping to achieve getting an aftermarket CAI?

Better HP = meh.
Better MPG = meh.

Louder sound = ya.
Under hood eye candy = ya.

Lighter wallet = about $300

Based on the info, the main reason to get one is to look or sound different.

 

Is just money. If you can afford it and you want it, go for it. I have the TRD CAI paired with the TRD exhaust and to me is worth it, because I got was I was expecting from it. (Looks good & more noise) l also got the gasshole from meso, if I'm not mistaken you should gain like 5hp with the gasshole

 

Do you need to add in the cost of 91 octane vs 87 of a tune of $300 to $500 per year for $.30 to $.65 per gal more ? But its up to you , if you already get 91 than the cost may be worth it.

No that's not it. That looks like some general purpose tubing. They had a model that was specifically made for the Tacoma 3rd gen. Looks like they have stopped making it altogether.

 

That is specifically for a Tacoma. you have to put in your year and model then scroll down to see the products. The top pic is just like a reference.

 

I can't even buy it because of California state regulations. I couldn't buy it on Amazon (when it was for sale there) either.

 

eBay will be your best friend.

 

My recommendation is don't waste your money on useless mods like a CAI.

 

Youre willing to throw away $300 on a CAI but balk at $700 for a modification that actually does something?

 

Never said I was wanting a CAI lol but just a lot to spend when I'm not 100% sure about something new
