    2" spacer lift 2" body lift. 33/11.50/18 nitro trail grapplers on 18x9 fuel wheels. Camo interior after market smoked led headlights. Homemade push bar 2 10" LEDs bars.
    Im sure its probably on the forum somewhere ive just not found it yet or looked over im wanting to do a cold air intake mod to my 22 re tacoma and i was wondering if someone might could give me some advice plz

    Yep. Do the deck plate mod. I did it to my 3.4L. I love it. It definately works.

    can u tell a good amount of diffrence in it if so thats prob what ill do

    CAI=noise maker and nothing more.

    Your stock system is more of a CAI than a "CAI"

    You will see no power gains or mpg gains.

    Do a deckplate mod if you want to mod the intake.

    Yes I have noticed a big diffrence. I did NOT do the silencer mod. Chris 4x4 did a write up on the removel of the silencers. You loss HP. when doing that mod. He even did a dyno test on his. So I followed his advise, and left mine intacked. Iam very pleased with the out come. Wish I would have done it sooner..:)

    yaeh I had the MIT tube also.I went back to stock after reading the write up from chris 4x4 about the loss of H P after removing the silencers.

    Been said lots of times..but yes. Deckplate is the way to go

    Its cheap, and works

    or you can spend hundreds on a CAI for cool nosies and no more gain then a $10 deck plate.
