My G8 is pretty modified (575hp). Its nice to just hop in the truck and drive and not have to worry about upkeep and breaking loose every time I roll onto the throttle.

You're fine man. My car is slow to a lot of people and fast to a lot of people. But it does what I need it to do. Do you, don't worry about what other people have

I'm not worried about it at all. Just sounds so weak, not even worth mentioning compared to yours and these other guys bad ass cars. Lol

The last time I actually worked on my speed I installed a big front mount. Everything was going alright until I needed something from the auto parts store. My buddy with his 450 hp speed was here with me, we jumped in his speed and took off. His motor threw a rod and punched two holes in his motor, 1 in the block and one right through his oil pan. It was crazy and such a mess. It seemed like every time I turned a wrench on that damn thing something would happen. That was the last straw. I took all the bolt ons off and traded it in on my truck the next weekend. I didn't want to have that issue on mine and it just seemed like it was cursed.

Its no savings when I'm offroad and suck a bunch of water through the engine. Can't hose the engine off without going out of my water. Oiled filer, so I'd have to find a dry one. And its not sealed for shit, so will get dirtier faster and suck hotter air into the engine

True, if you're an off-roader, I'd go with a sealed unit. This is my DD so there
wont' be any off-roading for me.

looks like my corrado haha. I had a piston go through the whole manifold and put a massive lump in the hood.
ya definitely not worth it anymore. Figure start being smart and putting my money towards renovations and investing in property, and just saving and not spending 10 000s on cars.
